Real Valuation Services continues to grow, and we are always looking for qualified professionals to join our team. We are currently seeking Trainee, Licensed Residential, Certified Residential, and Certified General appraisers in Chicagoland, Wisconsin, Northern Indiana, Florida, and Arizona.

Real Valuation Services is led by Tom Schurer, a Certified Residential appraiser with nearly 30 years of industry experience and more than 10,000 appraisals personally completed.
Tom is also co-founder of Valucentric, a nationally recognized staff appraisal firm later acquired by Opteon, one of the largest valuation providers in the industry.
In addition to production leadership, Tom serves as a continuing education instructor for the Chicago Association of Realtors and has supervised and mentored more than 20 appraisers throughout his career.

Role Description
We are seeking licensed residential appraisers, commercial appraisers, and appraisal trainees for Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
Opportunities are available for both full-time and part-time roles, including hybrid and remote flexibility.

Responsibilities
- Conduct residential and/or commercial appraisals in accordance with USPAP, state, and lender guidelines
- Analyze market data, property characteristics, and comparable sales
- Prepare clear, accurate, and timely appraisal reports
- Communicate effectively with clients, property owners, and internal staff
- Trainees receive field and report guidance through our mentoring program
Qualifications
Licensed Appraisers
- Active appraisal license in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, or Wisconsin
- Certified Residential or Certified General preferred
- Residential and/or commercial appraisal experience
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Familiarity with appraisal software and industry standards
Trainees
- Active trainee license or eligibility in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, or Wisconsin
- Strong interest in building a long-term appraisal career
- Willingness to learn from experienced mentors
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
